Orbis is currently seeking a Communications and Administration Intern for the Ireland office based in Blackrock, Co. Dublin.

Orbis is an international sight-saving charity. Through innovative programmes and partnerships, Orbis creates long-term, lasting solutions to prevent and treat blindness worldwide.

This role is perfect for an organised and passionate person willing to help with a wide variety of administrative and communications tasks. The role will include database management, donor care initiatives, event administration, online platform management and communications software management.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Development team and specifically the Development Director who has over 15 years of experience working with not-for-profit organisations. This is a great opportunity to work in a diverse environment and gain invaluable experience in fundraising and development. Previous interns have gone on to fill full-time positions within Orbis and other not-for-profit organisations.

COMMITMENT:

  • Commit to six month placement
